An active learning environment is what a CLIL classroom should aim for. Students should be consistently encouraged to engage actively in their learning process, often through collaborative tasks that promote peer interaction and communication, through a foreign language. This helps students develop both subject knowledge and language skills simultaneously. In our School, students in three of the classroom, had organized themselves into a team workshops for a class assignment. The students worked in small groups and created posters, which were then presented to their classmates. Well done! To summarize, CLIL is a dynamic, game-changing method that prepares students for a future where multilingualism is the norm.
